Did you view the Herbarium specimen taken by
George B. Hinton no.4376.in 1933 ?
Relatives are (by Carl Epling)cacaliifolia,patens,vitifolia
subpatens and serboana.
Seems to be in the mountains on the Pacific side of Mexico.
Distribution is further north than patens
Flowers are white resembling patens but 1/2 the size .
The leaves are essentially sessil ,growing in Oak forest.

Thanks for the info. According to Alziar, the flowers are blue. Will have to wait and see.

I now have blue flowers! Not spectacular....but nice!

Now the plant has hundreds of flowers.........beautiful!
