Okay, I'm getting sick of looking at this post myself so I'm hoping this will help push it down the line. I figured out how to collect the seeds from this plant all on my own :o)

I would say from where ever it flowers.Kind of looks like it's along the stem.I hope you find them I'd like to trade you for some. Thanks,Jody

To the rescue! Hi Rachel! This is similar to my Monarda Lambada. The seed is the same as any regular monarda. See the round puff? Inside those little brown flutes that make up the puff is the seed. It's very tiny and monarda lambada doesn't make that much seed. I just cut them down and whack whack whack them in a bowl. The seed, some buggies and other flower parts fall into the bowl.

I hope you don't mind a comment on the next step after collection: When you try to germinate them, keep in mind that these are tiny seeds. I received a packet of them and they didn't start to germinate (I think) at first because I used my usual seed planting technique and pushed them 1/2 to 1 inch into the soil, then covered them. Then I heard that tiny seeds and small seeds need to be just barely covered with dustlike particles in order to germinate. I had read this but ignored it before. So I roughed up the soil and now they are coming up.If anyone wants these packets they are from Botanical Interests. kamala
