What do you recommend for seed collections?

Hello all! I am just starting a seed collection, but I don't have any ideas of ways to save seeds so I know what they are/when they are from. Do you guys use those clear boxes with little dividers?(often used for fishing hooks or beads). Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Brian

Those divider boxes would be very very nice & neat, just make sure the seeds are wrapped in paper/plastic packages. If the box tips, and they arent wrapped, they get all mixed up. luckily we learned this lesson with beads and not seeds.

    Hi Brian,
I recommend using boxes made from paper, like shoe or photo boxes, or wood, like cigar boxes. Plastic without a top sealed on it would be fine too though. I use an open holder, from an old fridge, that is long(maybe it was for eggs?)and just the right width of seed pkts. to hold my commercial veggie seed pkts. Unless you know all you seeds are dried thoroughly, keeping them in sealed plastic could kill them.
