I just got a flat of these beauties and have some questions.

After reading thru this forum am I to understand that these will grow into a bush type plant, the tag said that they are fine for borders. I was going to plant it beside my walkway in between my daylillies and the cement. Should I plant it in my now empty wine barrel instead?? Thanks.
