I have always heard that you can use both, so I checked it out and found the following about Pineapple Sage.

The fresh leaves of pineapple sage are used in fruit salads and drinks. Crush a few fragrant leaves into hot or iced tea for a flavorful treat. The delicious flowers add color and flavor to salads and deserts.

These are a favorite!
One of my sons likes to collect them and add one little blossom to each ice cube to add to our summertime tea. Enjoy!

I was in Houston today and went to my favorite nursery for herbs. Well I thought that I bought a "pineapple" salvia, but when I got home and took it out of the car I sure was surprised to see that it was a "peach" salvia. It looks like the pineapple, but it does smell more like peaches. I'm so excited about my mistaken "Find". YEA!
