Sorry, but what's a trailer?

I think he means a companion plant. If that is some thing you want. I think all here just keeps them alone in their pots. But I am curious to see what comes of this. Speaking for myself. I love the Sans the most and can't see adding anything in the pot that will diminish from it.

I have suggestions but the thought of a poor Sans in low light kind of bums me out. It will put up with it though, as long as not too cold or wet, a real trooper. I don't see how something trailing over the sides would detract from anything about the Sans, just cover the pot.

Syngonium
heart-learf Philo, plain, 'Micans,' or Brazil.

Doesn't have to share the surface either... if you can make holes. Just did this today, so it's not such of a much yet.

Wow Purple I really like the idea. Never saw anything like it. That should look really cool in a few months. Post back but maybe on house plants. I will make a effect to look for it.

This topic reminds me of the "dish gardens" we grew many years ago. They would have a nice mix of various house plants, maybe a peperomia, pothos, philodendron, maybe a small palm, and for height, a couple of sansevieria. It was surprising how long all these plants could co-exist. Sometimes I would take cuttings and grow them all together in water too.

One of my hanging baskets fell and cracked. Now I got extra plants all through the cracks and filled in nicely.

Stush, so sorry, but sounds like it worked out positively interestingly. Was hoping you'd included a pic. When you get a chance, I'd love to see it, before the plants finish tearing the pot apart! Is it still able to hang? Love your attitude of continuing to use it, I do that too until it really won't work anymore. Part of the motivation to cover the ugly sides of these pots and use that space.
