the three auctions ended between Euro 950,- and 1300,-. The one on ebay, Sept. 2009, yielded $ 3000,-

With that prices, only people with really large wallets can afford to bid. As for me, I would be willing to pay about 100,- maximum... but one has to have dreams, does he?

Wow, I didn't know that they ended up with such prices. In fact it depends on individual's priority. I would be willing to pay only 30,- maximum for a sansevieria, but a tree peony that costs 100,- is ok for me. :)

I'll pay $280 for and exceptional Haworthia. That cost is out my budget, and a rip off, wait until we tissue culture the plant, it can be done but it is a very slow grower. Norma

The Huntington Gardens is working on tissue culture for that species of San. be patient they will get the price down eventually. Grigsby received the first batch of tissue culture plants from Hawaii. They were all sold years ago. We also have a company in Europe working on it as well. That cost is out of my budget as well. $300 is the top I could possibly go, I save for three months, not eat, starve the cat and sell my Haworthia collection. Perhaps sell my precious cat. Norma
