Salvia 'Shell Dancer'

Does anyone grow this? I don't know if this is a S. gregii or microphylla but I love their pink two-tone flowers. Would love to have someone who has grown it for longer than two weeks (me) share their experience. Thanks.

It looks like A Salvia microphylla dominant hybrid with greggii to me. I believe it is from M. Nevin Smith of Suncrest Nurseries (Watsonville, CA).

Compare it to Salvia greggii(?) `Icing Sugar'. See the other new thread on the forum.

Just picked this up at UCBerkeley Botanical -- so pretty, that I bought 2! My hummingbirds found them right away. :)

Mine has been in the ground for about 9 months now, doing well and will be cut back this next week. It is a beauty, isn't it?

This one has been a real temptation. It is nice to know it is as good in the ground as it is in photos. Plant Delights lists it as zone 8 possibly colder, presumably being conservation about hardiness. It is close enough to my zone 7 to give it a go. PD also lists a sister plant that seems very similar.
