I googled and found it is hardy to zone 9, close but no cigar for you however. I feel your pain, living in nearly the same zone as you.

I love it too even though it got big and floppy I'm in zone 6 and it didn't survive but it might for you it had quite a large woody base by October. Here's one picture I took last September. Sarah
