I discovered a tunnel under my salvia bed while I was watering. I had the hose in it watering to collapse it or drown that gritter. Bought bags of rocks to mix with the soil to discourage them.

The Japanese beetles are defoliating a few of mine! They've finished the roses & are still hungry!

I have june beetles in july eating up one of my guaraniticas !At first I thought it was japanese beetles because they are everywhere but the green june beetle is bigger and greener and seems to have a taste for salvia guaranitica! Sarah
