Cut the dried flowers from the stems, and bring them in to dry further. I lay them out on a paper plate for a few days, or if there are not a whole lot of them, I put them in a brown paper bag. They need to be real good and dry when you store them.

When they are dry, I take the head apart, and separate the seeds. The seed is just the little arrow looking end, with the dried petal attached. You can remove the petal part.

I put the seeds in little manilla coin envelopes, but you can use regular envelopes if you like. I keep them in a little tool keeper box that has drawers that you would keep screws or tacks or small thingys in the shop. You can put them in a fruit jar with a good lid screwed on tight.

They stay viable for a long time if you store them right.
