Hope for green dill seed?

My volunteer Long Island Mammoth dill was doing so well, then I found it broken off this afternoon (heavy rains, a blessing and a curse I suppose). The biggest seed head has both green and brown seeds on it. Is there anything I can do to encourage ripening of any or all of these so I'll have some for next year (with plans to plant with better support!!)? TIA.

IMHO, hang the branch upside down in a paper bag in the garage or someplace. Best you can do is keep them on the branch and maybe they can absorb some of the nutrients.

I planted some indigo from a plant whose seed pods still had a bit of green ont hem and they're out there growing like nuts.

You only need 1 seed to get a plant for next year which will get you another gonkzillion seeds.
