Seeds won't be mature enough to germinate. The embryo won't have fully developed and will abort from the seed. See the previous post linked below.

If it MUST be done you can try and just hope a few of the older seeds in the pod might make it.

I would try cutting the stalk and keeping it in a vase of water to see if the seeds would ripen.
