If you look really closely, you'll see tiny greenish-yellow flowers along the stems of mature plants. My Emerald Falls has alot more than the Silver form. It looks as though each flower produces just a pair of seeds. That's why Parks charges $3.95 for a pkt of 10 seeds! This will be the first time I try to collect them.

Ahhh, now I see a few eensy little flowers on the more matuare ones. Looks like I'll just have to watch closely to see when they develop seeds. This could be a challenge. Thanks much for the tip.

I put the whole long stems in a plastic baggie, leave open, every fews days I massaged the plant thru baggie.You can see little gray/black round seeds down the bottom of the bag.

I was wondering how successful either of you were in collecting seeds from your dichondra, I have tried saving a piece of stem but didn't know what to look for after it dried so just discarded it because I didn't see any seed.

It grows quite successfully from seed so I would rather reseed each year instead of keeping a plant over.
