Canteloupe seeds

I saved some seeds from a really good canteloupe and now that they are dried they don't look like commercial seeds I've seen. They kind of shriveled up and are flat. Are they any good?

Shriveled and flat is not good. They probably bend easy too. They should be plump, smooth like you think they should look and not bendable . If all the seeds were as you describe, the canteloupe was possibly a sterile hybrid.

Thanks Remy. I didn't think they should look like that. Is it the same with zuchinni?
