A couple oF Sans are in bloom, and I am attaching a photo of one, S. bacularis. It does not seem to have been fertilized, so far.
I wrote earlier that several Sans bloomed here a few months ago, and that there were some seeds. The seeds of S. ehrenbergii seem strange as one turned red in late September and I planted it, but it has not sprouted; 8 others are still on the spike but are still green. Three other seeds were sown, and two sprouted in late October. Yale
