Well, just in case. Pot those leaves but pls. DON'T water them in. That will only rot them as they don't yet have any roots w/ which they can take up that moisture. A small pot would be best too, just a bit wider than the leaf please. Also this is likely to take a long time, pls. don't tug at it, but don't be discouraged either.

The best sign of roots having established themselves will be the appearance of new growth.

Don't be afraid they'll dry out, their fleshy leaves retain moisture for quite some time.

Unlike when potting houseplants, when potting succulents, it's best NOT to water them in.

Stick them in a pot with slightly damp mix. and forget them for at least a week -2weeks. Once the roots you must water, and not let the new roots dry out. These are their baby roots, so must be developed into rizomes slowly, once the out grow the first pot promote them into big boy pots, and next into juvinele pots, By the end of summer they should be big enough for 8" pot, big boy pots, then leave them alone they like to be crowded, and it will tell you when it want out by breaking the pot. It is now an adult, and you must get a volksvwagon to pot it in, and let it run. Use a fast draining soil, it must breath, send out its' roots, produce young, and multiply.
