Does Arizona Sun Gaillardia come true from seed?

Hi everyone. I just bought an Arizona Sun Gaillardia plant and it had 2 seed heads ready on it. My question is, if I sow the seeds, will they come true? Thanks for any information you can give me.

    Hi,
I looked up Arizona Sun and it is a hybrid. There is an x in the complete name. That means the seedings may not come true. Being that it is a blanket flower, there may not be much difference though, so it may be worth it to see what grows. It seems it was bred to have uniform colors on large flowers on a compact plant. So maybe the seedlings won't be as "perfect" a bedding plant, maybe taller or airier looking.

Thanks, Remy! I really appreciate the time you took to answer my question!

Has anyone here tried growing these from seed? If so, what were your results? Thanks a lot!
