Hi,
B&B is notorious for producing no seed or a very tiny amount. It is much easier to divide the plant to make more plants than to try and save seed. I believe I got 3 seeds last year. Plants that develop tuberous roots as B&B does are often stingy with the seeds. The little bit of seed you might get is also difficult to harvest. Unlike other many other salvias where the seed stays in the calyx for some time after maturity, the seeds of B&B fall out immediately when ripe. So you must keep a close watch on the calyxes for seed development.

Yup, I've had mine for two years now and have never found one seed.

I have mailed small divisions in a bubble envy before with luck though.

It is a real bummer though!
