the bracts don't look very Salvia-ish...but I dunno...

Could it be a Henbit? Lamium amplexicaule perhaps?

It has the proper flower structure for a Lamium, but henbit is a common, small-flowered annual. It almost forms a monoculture early spring here in the sand hills of North Carolina fields.

I think it is more likely to be a Phlomis, like Ph. tuberosa, Jerusalem Sage. These are much larger plants.
