Cut all the folige to the ground and place into a paper bag. Allow to dry for a few weeks and shake. You'll have Lots of seeds.

I grew this plant for wreath making several years ago (15+). I have spent the last 12 years trying to erradicate it. I own 8+ acres of land, and it is continuing to come up in areas nowhere near where I originally grew it. Seeds can survive years in the ground before they germinate, so even though I religiously pull every seedling I see before it reaches maturity, they still continue to pop up everywhere. I think this plant has the potential to be very invasive and personally I would not pass the seeds along.
It IS nice for wreaths and keeps its wonderful scent for a long time, but it tends to lose its green color within a few months.

Hi Everyone! I'm new here and could use a little help. I am extremely interested in growing Sweet Annie this year. Purchased two packages of "seeds" from someone on Ebay but they were so small...I could barely see them. Felt like I was planting specks of dirt. Are the seeds actually this small? Is there anyone out there who would be willing to send me a few seeds at least so I can "see" what they look like? Could you tell me how long these little babies take to germinate? Also, concerning preserving, I read someone used glycerin mixed with water. Do you just dunk them in and hang them upside down to preserve them? Thank you so much to everyone here! Bramblewood :O)
