The odds are pretty good that you will have both seeds on your plate and seeds on the ground that will grow next year. I am pretty good about good about collecting but they re-seed like crazy in my yard anyway.

I never got around to planting any blue bedder this year but had a 5 x 3 foot stand of them from seed that fell. I also had red ones growing and blooming in my sidewalk cracks. I have to pull them out of my driveway all summer.

Look inside your dried flower pods. You should have tiny seeds; probably black teardrop shaped - inside them.

What about May Night Salvia? It looks like if I leave the stem to dry there is nothing left to form a seed. Do I cut the stem and then let the entire thing dry? Will I be able to see the seeds? What do they look like?
