Hi! I received a pink begonia from my grandmother two years ago. After the first frost it was barely alive, but I brought it inside and divided it into a few different pots. To my surprise, it continued growing and blooming inside throughout the winter- they actually make beautiful house plants!! I tried saving what I thought were seeds, but could not get them to germinate. I ended up trying cuttings- and those worked very well! Just trim the plant and place the cuttings in water- I used a clear plastic cup and put it on my window sill. In about 2-3 weeks they had roots and were able to be transplanted into dirt. You could do this a few weeks before spring and have plenty for outside borders or containers. Good luck!!
