sitting back to enjoy the garden

The first few weeks of spring were spent weeding and cleaning up from last fall. Last weekend I finally had a chance to spread 3 yards of mulch. Recently I have had a chance to sit back and just enjoy the garden. I love this time of year. The mulch is fresh and nothing is stressed from the heat of summer. I have made lots of notes in my garden journal about what is blooming. Right now I have a few irises, columbine, clematis, 2 weigelia bushes, lungwort and sweet woodruff. I also planted a few things in pots. Anyone want to share what is blooming in their small spaces?
