'Amber Waves' is more of a golden toffee color, but a remarkably weak plant that has been superceded by 'Marmalade'. 'Peach Melba' has more orange tones, but with definite peachy-pink coloring. The best orange color I've seen to date is 'Peach Flambe' - the color just intensifies through the season and is its best in cold weather.

Your local nursery should have the best prices for well-developed plants. As with many of the newer heucheras, Peach Flambe is patented and is not an inexpensive plant anywhere you find it.

I purchased Amber Waves last year, and it survived the winter just fine. It doubled in size from when I bought it, however the deer found it a couple of nights ago and most of it is gone! I would describe the color as being an amber gold with ruffled foliage - a very pretty plant. I think the Peach Flambe has the strongest orange tones of all the Heuchera's. I have several Amber Waves that have survived two zone 5 winters, but they aren't growing much size-wise. I'm thinking of moving them to a bit more sun. Peach Melba looks great and is quite robust.
