flowers/plants of the year?

Does anyone know where I might find the particulars of the plants/flowers of the year? I know that I can find the rose of the year, just wondering where the chosen are that aren't quite as pricey as the rose. Is there a listing somewhere, a catalog?, something to peruse?

Thanks to anyone that can point me in the right direction.

I just received a message that I posted this on a nother forum, and so would be rejected, just wanting to know where to find the plants of the year, and hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I know they have a rose of the year, what others do they promote?
