My name is Sigalit and I have 3 kids whose home work always all over kitchen table. I’d like to use space by far kitchen Bay window to create an easy accessible place for them to do their homework.
We have open concept house where kitchen is a continence of house’s entrance.
When kids are coming home they are only 7 feet from the kitchen. It is way too easy for them to pile their lunch boxes, agendas and all sorts of papers and art work on the kitchen table.
Beside the inconvenience of papers on out table we are eating at, it also all get mixed up with other papers and their art work and get lost.
The idea you have here is brilliant! Bench serving as a storage space is just perfect for family with kids and it leaves table free of cluster to do home work or any other required table space activity.
If it acceptable I can send you picture/s of the place and maybe you can suggest me/give some ideas of how utilize unused space by kitchen’s Bay window
