I have a concrete patio which has a flower bed next to it. I planted azaleas and gardenias but they didnt do too well so i moved them. I want to plant bird of paradise and agapanthus and was wondering what other colorful and bold plants would look good with these and withstand the intense sun, poor soil and drying winds.
