Pixwell Gooseberry
Eight years ago I planted a Pixwell and, although the plant has thrived and grown quite large, it has never produced one gooseberry. I don't think it even blossoms. Is there such a thing as a male gooseberry? It gets really hot here in Reno but not until around July; long after it should have bloomed. Should I yank it out and try a different variety?
