Is there anybody growing it with success in colder, arid 7b climates? I planted two this spring (probably too early) and they have really sulked, much more than any other plant in the garden. We have alkaline, decomposed granite soil. Is there some ammendment I may want to consider? Thanks for any insight on this plant.
