sfg startup problwm
I have been trying to make up the mix in my first 4 by 8 box.
I have been storing kitchen waste and used coffee grounds/ filters in a 3 by 3 foot plastic soilsaver box.The problem is that my compost is only half done, being that i didn't turn it much during the winter months. I still plan to use some of it but it will probably fall short of my needs.
I probably will have to supplement it with store bought compost. Are the commercially available composts available at e.g. home depot, any good? What are some of your experiences with obtaining good quality compost for the sfg? Thanks
