Hello,

I planted 2 Strawberry Trees in April. One was a younger tree probably 1 - 2 years old and the other a more mature tree probably 4+ years old. Both we in 24 inch boxes from the nursery.

The younger one has done phenomenally and the older one has had some struggles but is probably going to be alright.

My question today is what are the signs to look for to determine whether these trees are getting the proper levels of water. What do I look for in the leaves that will tell me too much water or too little water?

This is the hottest time of the year in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles and I want to be sure I do everything I can to insure the trees survive.
