I had converted my tradition garden to a square foot/lasagna garden several years ago. I love the results. However I have wanted to either convert to raised beds (it is already somewhat built up from being a lasagna bed), or atleast build up one side that had a wood edge to our play area (picture from last year at link). I am planning on doing this now. However we have A LOT of grass growing along that edge of garden each year and it is starting to take over the whole area. How do I get rid of this grass? I have tried to pull it out but it is impossible. Do I dig out a bunch of the dirt and lay lots of newspaper down? I am worried about getting all the way to the edge. Any ideas
