What's important is that the root area not stay wet... i.e. I mist mine incidentally daily when I'm misting other stuff in the 'indoor' g-house, and once in 10 days dunk them in a bath for 20 nins, but then really shake them hard upsidedown to be sure no water stays in the cracks, or they will rot. It's always better to be on the dry side with them, when in doubt. Not knowing how wet things are at your place, I'd keep a close eye on them (they don't need misting all or every day) and if necessary, remove any that are staying 'wet'.

Note that in the wild they live in tree branches and invaribly dry out between showers. As a rule the gray types
require a lot less water than the green. I wouldn't mist every day and be sure they drain very well.
better to error on the dry rather than too wet side.

Thanks for the advice. It sounds like they should be happy in my terr. I will post pictures as soon as I get a few more plants in my tank. just need to pick up a AV, jewel orchid and probably an angreacum leonis.

I have two tillandsias in my terrarium hangin upside down. One is the "grey" type so I placed it right below the cp lights. The other is a green bulbosa so it is placed low down in the terraruim to get less light. I have had them four months and they are growing beautifully with new leaves. I never dunk them. I only mist them almost daily to where they are dripping. They both have also sent out roots to attatch to my tree fern fiber backround. R/o water only. I am going to get a few mor to cover the backround. My setup is basically closed, 70% humidity, 80degrees, and has a cpu fan blowing 24 hours to dry things off quickly. This setup also works for my AV, jewel orchids, ferns, etc.
