I have been growing cucumbers (both bush and climbing) without a lot of success in Northern Virginia. Miss Pickler, Spacemaster, and Sweet Slice have yields that are too low to justify the space they take up. Has anybody got suggestions for higher yielding varieties for my area? I just plant for fresh consumption, as I don't have enough space to produce cucumbers for pickling. I buy pickling cucumbers from the farmers' market.
