I have planted asparagus in a 6X2 Box and it has been fantastic. By the end of the summer it looks like a big fern bush, but, thats okay with me. I did the silly thing and did this by seed-Mary Washington asparagus. I had to be patient, but it took me 4 years to get it. If I had to do it over again, I would have definitely used the asparagus crowns...I just hated paying what they were asking, so it only cost me $1.99-I just had to wait....
