Planting strawberries- root question

I was just over on the fruit & orchard forum looking up some answers to strawberry questions, and one person mentioned that the roots should not be "J-rooted" when planted. I very much think that I may have done this when I planted them. The holes were pretty deep, but I laid the long roots in, and then kept the tops vertical a few inches.

Should I be concerned and rip them back out and re-do them?
