salaginella unicinata

It says that it can be grown in a hanging basket. I don't know what your wood/branch looks like. If possible can you dig out some of the wood for some organic material to be placed in to give the salaginella a foot hold. Again, not knowing what the wood looks like, I can't give anymore advise.

The background was built from blackjungle's link (Great stuff foam with silicone, Eco-Earth, and driftwood).

I just redid the cage and added a false bottom and my own mix of soil (equal parts potting soil and peat moss with LFS, orchid bark,play sand, and cut-up oak leaves. I added a very small amount of Eco-Earth for volume)

Selag can be slow to initially take off. If you need more you can always contact me & we'll see what we can work out.

Your main issue will be whether you can keep its substrate moist enough-- particularly if you hope to grow it epiphytically. IME, they strongly resent any drying out.
