Ive never used it myself but have seen it used in many terrariums, it looks pretty good and seems to do good in their set ups =)

Just hang it over something and spread it out a bit so that air can pass through. needs high humidity and air movement to do well. Make sure that it drains well

High humidity is a problem in some areas of Califoria or generally wherever there are deserts. You are definitely warm enough for it you just have to make sure to mist it fairly often if you live in an area with low humidity. Even so that may not even work. Try it though and see how it goes.
