Tennessee Gardening

I live in Dickson, TN and wondered if there are any gardening clubs down my way (we moved here from Nashville in July 2004). Also I want to mulch with pine straw but haven't yet found any one here offering it for sale. Does anyone know of a place nearby that might sell it? I would also be willing to drive if I were sure they had it. Lastly, a friend of mine said she had read in Ms.Cheap (in the Tennessean newspaper), that flat pond rocks could be found fairly cheap in the greater Nashville area. Does anyone know anything about this? Any information is greatly appreciated.

Peggy,

I find pine straw at Lowe's. They have it in semi trailers usually parked near the lawn and garden area. I think Home Depot has it too. It's about $3.00 for a bail.
