I'm tired of the wetness, but I think the snow is cool. This winter is very very mild compared to the winters we used to have. Think of all the younger kids who have never had a snow day before this year.

I do wish it would dry up enough for some outside work though.

I am just going to be patient, and wait out this cold/wet spell.
I know it won't be that long until it's 90 degrees outside, with 90% humidity... whew !!!

Just try to look at it positively. At least late freeze damage like in 2007 is more unlikely. The plants will stay dormant longer and if we do have a late freeze they can tolerate it much better.

I'm looking forward to seeing how some of the fruit trees react, bloom and fruit set wise and if some of my roses that are better when they grow to the north in colder weather (and make lots more blooms per spray because of the cold while the buds are getting ready to grow.)
