Asiatic Lilies

Last year I hired a new lawn and garden employee. Before, I could stop him, he whacked down several of my asiatic lilies in the early spring before bloom. These were cut back severely and were already over 6 feet tall. Are these now ruined? Will they attempt to sprout again this year? Will I need to replace them?

Were they cut all the way to the ground? Did they regrow foliage last year? If they regrew or were not cut down all the way, I don't see why there should be any problem.

There was little to no foliage left. It was like a naked stalk. :( I'm hoping they come back. There is no sign of them coming up yet and some of my day lilies are beginning to appear. Thanks Brandon!
