I answered this post when you first posted it and it didnt post? anyway, Ive never heard of a chemical that will remove silicone?? doesnt mean it doesnt exist =) Ive always used a razor blade and a squirt bottle, squirt...scrape... the water makes it smoother and easier to remove, Ive done it this way for years and it works pretty good =)

That's been my method also.lol I was just hoping there was some magic chemical that would disolve it.
I'm putting a new roof on the shadehouse and the strips are 10 x20 feet !! Scraping is very time consuming..
Have always found that the silicone will not adhere to
old silicone very well. So the cleaner it is the better.
Must be a better way !!!lol. thanks gary

10x20! Yeah! Thats a lot of silicone! That Florida heats not going to help either! I would hire someone reliable to do it! LOL! Good luck =)
