I started a new job and would like to make a desktop terrarium. I intend to use a 1-gallon glass jar and get a terrarium moss/soil/rocks/charcoal kit from amazon. I am ~12 feet from a window and have a cube wall around the desk, so I was considering a desktop LED for lighting, any advice on whether this is needed and what is appropriate for a glass jar terrarium?
