planting winter crops beside peas?

Hi,

I was thinking about planting some winter brocolli beside my peas. I have a row of peas in 2 squares (4 per square, only 1 row instead of 2x4). How many inches away from the peas could I safely plant brocolli seeds that will mature this coming winter?
