Plant Delights has E. neglecta. Snow Gum is usually used for a number of other Eucalyptus species (especially E. pauciflora). I have never seen it associated with E. neglecta.

I don't know if this is what you have seen. It very well could be, but there are also other species that are marginally (a.k.a. currently) hardy here.

I used to have a list of about 5 or 6 species, but don't know where it is. If anyone happens to have a list, please post it.

This species has small bluish-green foliage.

Unless they have a sign hanging on them, I'd have to have a Eucalyptus key in front of me to tell one species from another. That's why I like arboretums, the trees have signs on them telling what they are.

I'm not sure it was her, but I think Amazindirt might be familiar with some of the hardier ones. I remember hearing someone talk about some of the ones locally.

Might not be neglecta...Tasmanian Snow Gum and Omeo Gum seem to ring out in my head. I know at least one species (this may be the one we see planted) has recently proven hardy 0-5 degrees with only slight leaf burn. Maybe you could try one at the gardens, brandon7?
