Last year's late blight put me in my place. I was set back enough that I sent out my SSE Packet too late to be a listed member in 2010. Both of these things still sting.

One bright spot in this widespread blight was that it was a true "acid test" for blight resistant tomatoes. I knew that the SSE Yearbook had "gone digital" and I imagined being able to search for "blight" in the tomato folder and get a "short list" of late blight resistant tomatoes. Unfortunately, the 2010 version is not sophisticated enough to search that way.

I want to know what red tomato cultivars were blight resistant then, I want to trial the best of them this spring. This summer I want to eat them on B.L.T.s and this fall I want to save the seeds!
