I love the shape of your garden Leasa. No reaching necessary at all. Also, the 6x6's make for a nice place to sit down and have a drink :).

The shape happened because I decided to uncover the ledge (folks have been trying to cover it for years according to my neighbor) and make a water feature out of it. We started out with 2 4 x 8 beds and ended up with the L shape so the water feature can be made. My hubby wanted the big timbers to sit on-smart guy!

There are tomato, pepper and broccolli seedlings. From seed-beans, beats, several types of lettuce, turnip, 4 types of raddish all these have peeked thru the soil. I'm waiting on the carrots.

In the back ground on the hill we put in another drift wood fence and the neighbor with the quonset hut gave me a humk of preditor net from the salmon farm that I'm using for a cuke trellis. I planted some egg plant in a pot, there's a bed of squash at the far end of the driftwood fence and ofcourse my favorite--a nice bed of spuds.
