Everything was going fine until today I noticed this tiny hole in a number of green fruits all in the same tree. The leaves also look eaten by something.
I took this fruit (in the picture) and opened it, expecting to find a little snake inside but I found nothing. It was a very shallow hole. The rest of the fruit is ok: seeds .. juice .. flesh.
I got the same appearance in another fruit.
Other trees are doing fine and the yield is Good. Even the taste is great.
I am using containers high up on a chair about 2 feet from ground.
Last note: I notice some large slugs in the garden on the ground at night but never seen them in the containers. I don't know if this relevant or not.
