Your pics show leaf miner damage.

Standard advice includes pinching off and disposing of all affected leaves away from the garden area. There are occasionally other suggested treatment methods, but as miners are inside of the leaf, those methods frequently aren't that effective.

I am growing tomatoes from seeds that I purchased and my leaves look like your pictures. I do not have tomatoes yet and it involved taking off a lot of leaves tonight. I still need to dispose of the leaves away from the garden and will do so in the morning. I am in Hawaii and am growing in pots. The tomatoes are Heirloom Beefsteak. I hope I can control this. Tomatoes are so expensive here! My plants smell like tomatoes alaready. When I looked at my leaves today though after reading this thread, I discovered they also have little round spots and some turned yellow and died. There are yellow flowers on top of some of the plants. Will these turn into tomatoes? I hope I can control thes miners. Are they a disease or a pest?

A pest, not an infectious disease.

Above Suze gave a link to the many threads here at GW where leaf miners were discussed, so you might read some of those to get a better idea of what you're dealing with.

And you can always go to Google.com and in the box enter something like....leaf miners tomato... and up will come all sorts of links that will tell you about Leaf Miners.
